On set: Zelig w/ SWOT ANALYSIS

Strengths: We managed to successfully secure the Custard Factory location, providing the perfect backdrop for our shoot. I feel as camera operator, we managed to achieve all the shots we planned to use.

Weaknesses: Following a production meeting with the band, where we showed them the footage we had from the Custard Factory we had to rethink our ideas because it was not as the band had envisioned their song to be. We will no longer be using the footage shot that day, instead we are hoping to film  shots from a party and use the live performance footage we recorded on the 20th.

Opportunities: Getting to use the Zelig car pack for filming was great, the graffiti and urban feel gave the shots a great atmosphere.

Threats: We did have some problems on the day of shooting, we were a man down only half an hour into shooting. So had to make do with only the three us of. One of the problems with shooting on location outside is the sun. It was a challenge to avoid capturing shots that didn’t feature our shadows and to try to help with the lighting we had to get creative and use a sheet we found on site to make the light on the background wall more even.
